REGISTRATION OPENS FOR ADMISSION:

ACADEMIC SESSION 2026-27

1. Schedule for admission process in AF School Jammu for Academic Session 2026-27 is as appended below:

2. Admission Priorities: The admission priorities will be followed as per sequence given below:

Priority 1

(For Air Force personnel only)

(a) Serving personnel (Incl DSC) posted in station/ city.

(b) Family staying in Separated family / Selected Place of Residence (SPR) accommodation in station/ city, serving personnel on deputation with other organisations (eg NSG, DRDO etc) posted in station/ city, superannuated service personnel who exercised choice of home station in last one year of service.

Priority 1A

(Personnel from other services)

(a) Serving personnel on deputation with Air Force and posted in station/city.

(b) Personnel serving in Tri-Services organisation in station/city.

Priority 1B

(Personnel from other services)

(a) Serving personnel not on deputation with Air Force or posted in Tri-Services organisation but posted in station/city.

(b) Serving personnel of Indian Coast Guard (ICG).

Priority 1C

(a) ESM of Service running school residing in the
city/station:-

(i) Who retired with pension.

(ii) Who invalidated out on medical grounds with pension.

(b) Serving personnel from other Services who have chosen the city/station as SPR.

Priority 2

(Ex-Servicemen of Air Force - not residing in the city/station)

(a) Who retired with pension

(b) Who invalidated out on medical grounds with pension.

Priority 2A

(Ex-Servicemen of other Services)

(a) Who retired with pension

(b) Who invalidated out on medical grounds with pension.

Priority 2B

Defence civilians working with Air Force in the same station/ city

Priority 3

(Ex-Servicemen of Air Force)

(a) Who retired without pension

(b) Who invalidated out on medical grounds without pension.

Priority 3A

(Ex-Servicemen of other Services)

(a) Who retired without pension.

(b) Who invalidated out on medical grounds without pension.

Priority 3B

Personnel of all three Services who are not cat as Ex-Serviceman.

Priority 3C

Defence civilians working with other services, posted in same station/ city.

Priority 4A

Grand Children of Service Personnel

Priority 4B

All others

Note:

1. After preparing the list for Priority 1 to Priority 4B students on the basis of registration, if still any vacancy exists, then only the Priority 4B (Civilians/NAF) will be considered for admission.

2. Registration for admission does not imply confirmation of admission.

3. Age Criteria: The minimum/maximum age limit of the child as on 01 Apr of the academic year in which admission is sought is as mentioned below:-

4.1.1 UDISE Permanent Education Number (PEN) No.) from Previous school
4.1.2 Attested Photocopy of Birth Certificate
4.1.3 Posting/ Serving certificate from Stn Adjt/ Competent Authority ( For Serving personnel only)
4.1.4 Attested copies of Aadhar Card (Child, father, Mother)

4.2 Hard Copy of documents required at the time of Admission
4.2.1 UDISE Permanent Education Number (PEN) No.) from Previous school
4.2.2 Attested Photocopy of Birth Certificate
4.2.3 Original Copy of Transfer Certificate
4.2.4 Attested photocopy of report card of the last class attended
4.2.5 Posting/ Serving certificate from Stn Adjt/ Competent Authority (For Serving personnel only)
4.2.6 Attested copies of Aadhar Card (Child, father, Mother)

Note: Registration for admission does not guarantee admission in Air Force School Jammu. Admission is strictly subject to availability of vacancies (category wise).
